The story behind Firehouse Sandwiches
Firehouse Sandwiches began in 2008 when Chef Michael Brennan, a former firefighter with a passion for creating delicious, hearty sandwiches, opened his first small sandwich shop in Vancouver. He named it "Firehouse" as a tribute to his former colleagues and the spirit of service and community that defined his years as a firefighter.
What started as a small local favorite quickly gained popularity for its fresh ingredients, generous portions, and distinctive flavors. By 2012, we had expanded to three locations across British Columbia, and by 2015, we had launched our delivery service, making our famous sandwiches accessible to customers beyond our physical store locations.
Today, Firehouse Sandwiches operates 25 locations across Canada and delivers to customers nationwide. While we've grown in size, our commitment to quality, freshness, and customer satisfaction remains unchanged.
We never compromise on the quality of our ingredients or the standard of our service.
Everything we do is aimed at exceeding our customers' expectations and creating memorable dining experiences.
We actively engage with and support the communities we serve, donating to local charities and participating in community events.
We strive to minimize our environmental footprint through sustainable sourcing and eco-friendly packaging.
